WHAT PEOPLE SAY about us

Chris Iley is to be congratulated for saving the Goodwood Institute Theatre as a venue for live performance in Adelaide.

The theatre is located less than 10 minutes from the city centre and easily accessible by bus, tram and train. It has a good street presence on a major arterial road into the city from the southern suburbs.

The venue has a strong heritage as a live performance venue for live music, theatre productions, community events - this imbues the venue with an attractive ambience and history.

The venue boasts several useful spaces - the main auditorium has an excellent large stage and is well equipped with lighting and sound. The two studio spaces are flexible and workable for smaller scale performances as well as rehearsals, workshops and meetings. The bar area is practical and has a friendly atmosphere.

Most importantly the theatre staff are experienced, cooperative professionals who care about providing good service to both the hirers and patrons attending the venue.
